USS Palo Alto, Seacliff beach

Fun Fact: Locals call it the "Cement Ship," which is silly, since it's actually made entirely of concrete (cement is the powder you make concrete from). It's one of only three of its kind, built during World War I. In 1929 it was turned into a restaurant, dancehall and even had a heated swimming pool. You used to be able to walk on to it, but it's now just a big chunk of seagull perch.
